So this is a super amateur question from me of all people - but I haven't had anything done in a couple years. I just had 3ccs of HA (Voluma and Belotero) to help augment the HA that dissolved from my last round ~2 years ago (there's still a lot of voluma in there - but juvederm XC is gone entirely). All of this was just to keep things looking a little more natural, rather than having large dents where the nodules were removed. I'm not going for any kind of size with 3 cc.
I bruised very bad toward the circ area & that is dark. The others are not so bad. A needle was used here (the area was too scarred for a cannula to break through) so it punctured a blood vessel. Cannulas were used elsewhere. Needles always cause more bruising, even in the face.
I vaguely remember it resolving within 7-10 days from PMMA & roughly the same for HA - but I'm not sure. On some of the filler FAQ sites they say "up to 2 weeks" (sounds excessive to me?).
